Meltino Bar & Lounge
A coffee grain that draws the space
Meltino Bar & Lounge is a coffee concept embedded in a shopping center. Each coffee grain draws the spaces in the plan, perforates, the walls, the ceiling, and counters. This project was designed by architect and lighting designer Cláudia Costa from LOFF office.
The place is composed by three areas; two volumes and an interior esplanade. The lounge area is a relaxed atmosphere and offers gourmet products to consumers. The bar area is well done for drinking coffee. The white and the brown colors were chosen because of the association with the coffee fruit and the reflection of the light. Orange leds were applied in the brand lettering.
The duplicated walls – like a box inside the box – increases the coffee grain perforation, proportionate the defragmentation of the space, and giving more light and transparence. The central part of the ceiling is higher to give more sensory feelings to the space. The furniture fulfills the space with aesthetics and comfort.
