Eastern charm, mysterious beauty and traditional authenticity is the theme of this guesthouse that is ideally located, only a six minute walk, from the famous Jemaa El Fnaa square. Discover the splendor and the peaceful atmosphere of the historical moment that is the Riad Laora. The craftsmanship of the beautiful renovation and skilled preservation of this residence are impressive. A magnificent fountain is situated in the middle of the central patio and the gentle sound of the water running into the bathing pool is soothing and sets the tone for this serene and relaxing haven. The traditional Moroccan water basin is heated in the winter for your comfort. Seven guest rooms and suites are individually decorated and doted with private bathrooms constructed with traditional Moroccan tadlakt. A rooftop terrace is at your disposition to sunbathe, relax, or enjoy your meals. At night, the terrace is softly illumed by hundreds of candles, allowing you to appreciate the Moroccan star filled sky. During the day, a traditional Moroccan tent provides a shaded area for your comfort. The living room boasts a magnificent fireplace constructed in traditional tadlakt and is decorated in velvet and taffeta fabrics and an impressive collection of art objects. Guests are invited to take mint teas and enjoy the open air Moroccan summer salon opening onto the central patio. Gourmet dishes are proposed to guests and can be enjoyed either on the central patio, in one of the Moroccan salons or on the rooftop terrace. While the kitchen is reserved for staff only, Moroccan cooking classes are available. The property is accessible by car, a luxury in the Marrakesh medina.
Service
The Riad Laora as a private rental can accommodate up to 17 people in their five suites and two rooms with private bathroom. Prestations include lounge areas, rooftop terrace with solarium and a small swimming pool (heated in the winter) on the central patio. Restauration on request and events.
Tariff annex
Tariffs calculated on the basis of double room, breakfast included. Tourist tax not included (1€ per person e per day/11 DHS).
Extra bed : Child -12 years = free (except for the double room Chocolat) / Child -18 years=45€/ Adult= 50€.
Other services, airport transfer service: 2 pax=15€ / 4 pax=20€ / 6 pax=30€. Meal from 25€ / End of year: Obligatory dinner.
Booking policy
1) 20% charged upon reservation as a guarantee deposit.
2) Payment of the outstanding balance at the Riad.
3) A minimum stay from 2 to 7 nights is required according to the season.
Cancellation policy
In the event of a reservation cancellation, the guarantee deposit is non-redeemable.
21 days to arrival date or anticipated departure : 100 % penalty (cancellation fees deducted from the guarantee deposit will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process).
